Site Updated
Date: December 1 2007
I updated the complete site, converting it from HTML to XHTML, and
adding tons of new stuff. Check out the Quotes and
Kyle page. In addition,
styd has an
exclusive photo from Haunting in Connecticut! Click
here for it.
Featuring the impressive cast of Virginia Madsen, Elias Koteas
(who can do no wrong), Martin Donovan (ditto) and Kyle Gallner,
"Haunting" is cribbed from true events surrounding a family who move
into a home unaware of its past (more details and a hi-res look at
the pic can be found by clicking on the title above).
Peter Cornwell directs from a script by Adam Simon ("The American Nightmare")
and Tim Metcalfe. Keep it here for further updates!
Vote for Impulse!
Date: 25 November, 2007
Impulse
Sure, it's a major cop-out that he's not called the Flash
(thanks a lot, copyright laws). But still, Impulse is without a
doubt the coolest member of the Justice League simply because
he's the only one with a little edge. The other four are a bunch
of do-gooders, but Bart “Impulse” Allen is a bit of a rebel,
toeing the line between good and bad. He's a compelling character,
and it helps that the actor who plays him, Kyle Gallner, is the
only skilled thespian in the bunch.
Hunk Appeal: Low. Sorry, Beaver lovers, but Gallner simply does
not have the traditional masculine good looks that his fellow
actors have. Unfortunately for him, the CW is keyed into the
younger demographics where looks triumph over talent, so
great as it would be to see Kyle Gallner on TV every week,
this one is a bit of a stretch.
I beg your pardon, hunk appeal? Show them the opposite and
vote
for Kyle!

Hasn't been any news on Kyle lately. I've added 4 new members,

appearing in LaO, The Shield and A Haunting in Connecticut.
In addition,
Gardens of the Night
is completed.
Kyle in lead role
Source: IMDB Date: 25 July, 2007
Great news! Kyle has been cast in the upcoming
horror flick A Haunting in Connecticut, and he got
the lead role! Filming begins within 3 weeks.
Kyle will be playing son of Sara Campbell (played by
actress Virginia Madsen). The film is based on the
story featured in the Discovery Channel documentary
A Haunting in Connecticut. Filming will take
place in Canada. Here follows the plot outline from IMDB.
The true story of a family forced to relocate near a
clinic where their teenage son was being treated for
cancer. The family begins experiencing violent,
supernatural events that the parents first blame on
stress from the illness, but they later discover that
their new home is a former mortuary with a dark past.
Excerpt including Kyle
Source: Film.Com Date: 27 June, 2007
Kyle's name popped up in an article on the new
Big Love episodes. This is an excerpt of
the complete text.
Ben does seem to believe in the tenant of plural
marriage (as evidenced by his conversations with his dad),
but is tempted by the pleasures of the flesh, and
now even more confused by his friend
Jason Embry (Kyle Gallner)'s stance on straight
edge. Of course, the fact that Ben got beat up rather
than tattooing himself leads me to believe that he
won't end up a follower of straight edge.
Kyle in SUV
Source: Ausiello Date: 26 June, 2007
As we already know Kyle will be seen on
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Here is a scoop from Ausiello.
Question: Do you have any scoop at all about SVU?
Ausiello: Actually, I've got two scoops, both of the casting
variety. Onetime WB witch Melissa Joan Hart has booked a
November-sweeps guest spot as a teacher accused of raping
one of her students. Who's the lucky pupil, you ask? None
other than Beaver Casablancas himself, Kyle Gallner.
Kyle back in Big Love
Date: 22 June, 2007
Keep an eye open for Kyle, who will pop up in episodes
of Big Love, which has been renewed for another
season and just set off. As far as I know, he will appear
in episode 2x01 - Damage Control.
Embry House. Don knocks and Barb turns to look at him.
She’s clearly in one of the kids’ bedrooms and – Beaver!
Oh, how I’ve missed me some Kyle Gallner. He says he
needs his cleats and ducks into his closet
to get them. Barb waves awkwardly.

Gallner stars in Closer
Source: Ausiello Date: 1 June, 2007
Kyle will be seen in the crime/mystery TV-series the Closer
(more on the Closer
here).
To see a preview of the episode, visit
TNT.
Question: Any scoop on Season 3 of The Closer? — Dawn
Ausiello: Beaver alert! Veronica Mars' Kyle Gallner guest-stars
in the commercial-free season premiere on June 18. He plays the
sole survivor of a murdered family. And as Matt Mitovich reported
yesterday, Law & Order staple S. Epatha Merkersen is joining
the cast in a recurring role as Kyra Sedgwick's doctor.
